What is the Hackathon?
The inaugural AI Climate Hackathon at the ClimateImpact Summit will bring together students, professionals, and leading climate technology companies to harness the potential of generative AI in fighting climate change.
Over an immersive 2-day event, cross-functional teams will take on challenges proposed by our partner companies spanning areas like carbon capture, renewable energy, sustainable food systems, and green transportation. Through hands-on workshops, teams will learn how to effectively leverage cutting-edge AI tools like ChatGPT to ideate, prototype, and develop innovative solutions.
The hackathon is open to both students and professionals, fostering collaboration across disciplines and experience levels. Each team of 3-4 will be paired with a mentor - an industry expert from our sponsors and partners - to provide guidance throughout the event.
