Dave is a partner in the growth equity team at Generation Investment Management. Generation was founded 20 years ago by a group of partners including former Vice-President Al Gore as a pure-play sustainable investor and as one of the pioneers of the industry has always been focused on building the market for sustainable investing. Today the firm manages more than $30b across public and private markets and has an active Foundation funding sector building initiatives such as the B Corp movement. Generation has recently launched a new business “Just Climate” which is focused on investing to help translate high potential technologies in hard to abate sectors from pilot to scale. At Generation Dave leads the energy research of the growth equity team and also invests across healthcare and infrastructure software.
